Welcome to Captain Chad’s fishing Adventures. Thank you so much for visiting us. I would like to start out by introducing myself to you . My name is Captain Chad Breland. I am a lifelong resident of Plaquemines Parish Louisiana, home of the greatest fishing in the world. I have been fishing the waters here my entire life and consider them my home. I have no greater passion than spending my time out on the water and enjoying the sights and sounds that accompany the rich fertile marshes surrounding me. Watching clients experience this for the first time makes my job even better.

The mighty Mississippi River flows through Southeast Louisiana carrying with it fertile water and mineral rich soil. This water and soil dumps into the inland marshes of Plaquemines Parish and creates the most attractive life source for fish anywhere on the gulf coast. Because of this, the fishing here is phenomenal. We fish a fifty mile stretch of these inland marshes from Myrtle Grove to Venice on both the East and West sides of the Mississippi River, where we find Redfish, Speckled Trout, Flounder, Sheapshead, Black Drum and many other species. Other wildlife are always visible on our journeys to and from our favorite fishing holes.
